Thyroid nodules are remarkably frequent in the general population, with a significant proportion exhibiting indolent or aggressive neoplastic potential. Our specialized Thyroid Cancer Screening Package combines high-resolution imaging with thyroid biochemistry and pathology.
Key Diagnostic Features
- High-Frequency Thyroid Sonography: Precise anatomical assessment of thyroid lobes and isthmus, documenting nodule echogenicity, margins, microcalcifications, taller-than-wide geometry, and cervical lymphadenopathy according to the ACR TI-RADS system.
- Serum Thyroid Profiling: Free T3 (FT3), Free T4 (FT4), and high-sensitivity Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH) to evaluate functional endocrine balance.
- Fine-Needle Aspiration (FNA) Biopsy: When TI-RADS criteria indicate suspicion, ultrasound-guided FNA is performed on-site with rapid cytopathological staining, minimizing patient anxiety and delivering definite cellular diagnoses.
